GPRS communicator DATCOM-AMR3/E belongs to the family of Automatic Meter Reading devices. DATCOM-AMR3/E device meets the customer's needs for frequent data reading from the meters and sending collected data to a superior system. The device is designed for intallation in non-hazardous or a safe area.
DATCOM-AMR3/E two main functions are to communicated witha superior system and collect data from connected correctors, binary inputs and internal states. There is an inbuilt GSM/GPRS modem for communication.
The device is powered from AC 230V with an accumulator backup. Backup time when power supply is interrupted depends on capacity of the accumulator.
DATCOM-AMR3/E can be easily adapted to the corrector’s communication interface which can be equipped by exchangeable serial communication module. There are several communication module variants available (RS485, RS232, UNIWIRE etc)
