The governor is a direct-acting pressure regulator that ensures extremely precise control of the outlet pressure and enables correct operation even with low pressure differentials between inlet and outlet.
The balanced plug system guarantees a constant downstream pressure, even as the inlet pressure and flow rate vary.
They are suitable for use with previously filtered, non-corrosive gases, such as natural gas and LPG.
The governor range is available in sizes from 15mm to 100mm.
They are suitable for inlet pressure up to 50kPa and outlet set point up to 30kPa.
Governors in sizes 15mm to 25mm are available with in built OPSO.
All governors come with double diaphragm (working diaphragm and safety diaphragm). In certain cases this may allow the governor to be installed indoors without the need for external venting, so long as the conditions meet the requirements of AS5601.1 Appendix G.
